Default JBL K2 S9900 cabinet construction question

I am building enclosures for my Altec 416-8B's and had drawn a cab that had a curved back and the front contoured to mach the arc of an Altec 511B horn. I thought I was being quite clever but then came across pictures of the JBL K2 S9900's. And, there is the cabinet shape that I want to build.

My question is how is this cab constructed? Have they pressed/molded and curved a solid sheet of ply, have they kerfed and then curved the ply, or have they done something else?

Preciate Y'all

Do a search for the white paper on it - there are some details of how it's built. I think the bracing is used as a template and the mdf is kerfed and then built in layers with a 'foam / glue' to stick them together.

The Lansing Heritage DIY Forum has a documented build of JBL DD66000. A professional carpenter shop built the main cabinets for this man, and there are photos of the internal bracing. The Lansing site is probably the best source of info and correspondence for your K2 S9900 build.
