Default new to speaker swaping...help

I have a 4X10 speaker cabinet with a Rt of 4 OHMs... I was wondering if I could take two of the speakers out and make a 2X10 cabinet still maintaining the 4 Ohm load. Or am I just wasting everyones time?

thanks\

Hi mickyb,

Finally someone asks a question I can answer. Oh damn, sreten already did. oh well.

BTW, why do you need a 4 ohm load? Is there a specific reason? I never run less than an 8 ohm on any amp I have. They simply run cooler and happier

Cheers,
Cal
