I am new to the forum, and have searched for some help, to no avail.
My question is not as technical as some I've seen I have a converted attic where I have my Turntables and Mixer (for bedroom DJ-ing), and I want my mixing to be heard in the lounge two floors beneath. Do I run speaker cable from my amp down to the lounge (via sockets and hidden, permanent cable)? OR Do I run a phono output from my pre-amp (via sockets and hidden, permanent cable), and pick this signal up for my amp in the lounge ? I appreciate that there will be some drop in potential either way...please can anyone help? I have also considered just buying some wireless, active speakers and just leaving them down in the lounge. Thanks |
