vifa c17wg69

I have a pair of Vifa C17WG69, 6.5" midwoofer.

I want use the vifa´s as midwoofers, in a sealed enclosure, the tweeter is a Peerless.

somebody meet the sound of this woofers????

note they are measured in a sealed box, not a flat baffle.
(hence the baffle step in response, 200Hz to 1Khz)

I think they are the mid/bass AVI use in their Biggatron loudspeakers which are highly praised commercial deisngs.
I am completing a project with the C20WJ's which are 8" versions of that driver.

The 8"ers sound really good to my ears for the money, obviously you can do better, but they are not bad at all. Very nice relaxed easy going sound, although not increadibly detailed in the way a SEAS excel is they still have a fair stab. Not bad bass either for a sealed cab. OH and AVI also use a sealed cabinet with the 6.5" version.
