For the people that haven't seen the gainclone group buy thread yet.
Group order of non-inverted LM3875 pc boards? Anyone interested? Anyways, I personally have no idea what sort of speakers I should build for these things. |

Hi,
the GC will deliver 50 watts. Your choice will depend on how loud you play your music. You should take a look at Dennis M. design. He is a x-over genious. The Vifa tower, the Usher two-ways and the MBOW1 (2-way or 3-way) have great reputation. Take a look at the other design as they are good too. Feel free to ask me questions about the 3 designs I mentionned. I have build the first two and will soon build the MBOW1 3-way. http://murphyblaster.com/content.php?f=main.html Hope it help !

I am using the Seas Thor TL speakers, built from the kit that I bought from Madisound.
Seas page on Thor: http://www.seas.no/thor.htm Kit at Madisound: http://www.madisound.com/thor.html Paper on Thor from AudioXpress: http://www.madisound.com/audioXpress...r%20Review.pdf Pictures of my built process for these speakers: http://brian.darg.net/gallery/thor The only problem with building these speakers that they are too good. I built them for my first speaker project, and every project since, has not been able to even get close to matching the quality of the Thor TL speakers. I will keep on trying Power wise, the gainclone is perfect for these speakers. I am running a 2x24vac transformer for these, and the speakers are 4 ohm impedence. I took these speakers the the Atlanta DIY speakers event, and they were rated the Best of their class > $500, and almost got Best of Show (second place to Jim Griffin's Needles) Picture of Thor with my gainclone and cdpro2: -- Brian |

Oh Crap!
Speakers, forgot all about them. Well OK, one amp is going to drive the garden speakers that we were given as a gift and have seldom used. |

Dark Shadow I will be following your project closely as that is what I am going to be making(cept 7 channels instead of 6), but I am going to build a 2 channel amp first to get my feet wet.
