Hi. Does anyone have a source for small quantities of ferro fluid? I am looking for some to use with compression drivers in a low power system, so damping would be of more importance than cooling.

Damping! Just curious, I didn't know that damping problem should be approached that way

seems to me that's part of it's intended use. Thermal transfer, voice coil centering, and damping from viscosity.

Try Ferrotec. I got a sample pack from them to try out the different levels of viscosity.
