No, look at its frequency response.

The 3k that Seas talk about is a recommended max range to take the driver too.

If the drivers natural roll off approximately was close to a typical acoustic roll off, ie 2nd order linkwitz then yes you could use it full range, adding a HP to a tweeter to match the woofs roll off. But in this case the SEAS doesnt have this.

Yes you probably could use it without c/o if the speakers
are not toed in.

But your forgetting baffle step correction : as its measured
in a 12L box you can see the 6dB rise between 100 and 700Hz.

You need an inductor for baffle step correction, juggle this
a bit and you can combine the crossover and some BSC.

Also checkout the P17REX driver and the Seas Embla Kit.

Yes I agree with sreten on this, you can use the woof no filter if you use it off axis. Having said that you will need quite a considerable amount of this to get like the 30 degree plot, well 30degrees if you like.

For instance if your speakers were facing straight ahead, positioned 2 meters appart with you sittings three meters away, the angle would be less the 20 degrees. So bare this in mind.

Just something to consider :

As the driver is measured in a presumably rectangular box is
the on axis response intrinsic or a result of diffraction effects ?

And possibly another point - you could also use a tilted back
baffle for time alignment which would increase the effective
off axis horizontal angle.

Don't get me wrong here - the above is theorectical and not a
good idea to use unless backed up with good measurements.

them from where I listen from, never done this before.I have a
Revolution 7.1 soundcard, but maybe the mic input of this card isnīt good enough to messaure with? And I have 3 different microphones Shure 588SA,Wellin DMW 908 And Primo C-2,they are for Singing and for instruments, how do I know if they are liniear to messaure with, can I check them somehow?Or could any one recomend any other mic for this not to expensive. As I have never done this before I would be glad if someone could explain this to me,maybe a schema for a good mic preamp,to use with the line input of my soundcard.
