Hello to all .
can you help me please?
it is a bit of time that I ask questions and research to identify each component
Length of the HI-FI chain that will realize for the first time.
between all the components I am delighted to be aware of 'MY-REF amplifier
because although its construction costs little, it seems that is equivalent to
products price range with four digits.
I want to find speakers that are up and that they equate to well more products
expensive as in the case of the MY-REF,
I have no trouble building them from me as it is not too difficult.
from the wall or from the floor does not matter enough that they are not very large and not too far away from the wall
room 4 x 4.5 meters
qa550 player or qa660
I2S DAC that I have not yet chosen
amp MY-REF FE
music:
Afro-funky
disco 70/80
pop

You need sensitivity of 89 dB or more.

Maybe this waveguide kit: Fusion-15 Sentinel v2

-> Fusion-15 Sentinel DIY Sound Group

For 50W of maximum output I recommend 92dB to 98dB speakers.

I use 88dB speakers and the 60W chip amplifier is incapable of vigorous music levels. Great for background, or listening to "ordinary" program material, but it can't be turned up much, without becoming strained and that "Too Loud" effect due to excessive clipping of transients.

I wrote in other thread:

With the same woofer Jantzen Audio HMQ JA-8008, by Troels Gravesen:

-> QUATTRO-mkII

-> JA8008-HMQ

If we compare the Plutone of Tony Gee ... we appreciate much more their new kit, a wonder what he has achieved, for lack of hearing. And they say, less is more. I take off my hat.

And without resitors.

Above: On-axis and off-axis frequency measurements show very even response curves. This indicates a constant and neutral tonal balance under any angle and therefore the size of the sound-stage can be tuned to personal taste and room acoustics without altering the tonal balance of the loudspeakers. Red on-axis; Green 15 degrees off-axis; Purple 30 degrees off-axis; Yellow 45 degrees off-axis; Range 200Hz - 20kHz / Vertical scale 50-100dB; subdivisions 2dB's
