Many many questions I'm afraid :D

So I've got a 15inch bass, a 10inch mid, and a Multicell HF horn but I can't really find info on driver layout and benefits.

Standard would be (from the top) TMW. Is there any benefit to (from the top) MTW or even WTM?

If I go with the the standard TMW is there any benefit to offsetting the mid & bass drivers so I can get wide or narrow placement if I swap the cabinets left to right?

Which multi-cell, proposed XO points?

Personally, I don't like offset multi-way speakers except line arrays where an acoustic offset relative to the listening position [LP] can be realized by angling them. I mean have you ever seen a horizontally offset 'full range' horn array?

For cinema sound you always want the HF at ~2/3 screen height where speech is focused, so for a HIFI app we want the HF lower due to a lower average seated ear height, ergo as a general rule, if the [mid]bass is a horn, then MTW due to its size, otherwise TMW in a HIFI app; though now that digital delay [TD] is common, there's folks who put the [mid]bass driver on top and angled down like a horn, which ideally requires a baffle large enough in area to mimic a horn mouth, so ultimately best to experiment since we all hear the same, yet not so much, ditto room acoustics.

This thread is really a continuance of my long dead thread full of my ignorance http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-way/220304-now-something-really-big.html

HF is an 8 cell multicell made by a chap here in Blighty - http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-way/220304-now-something-really-big-17.html#post3364176 mated to a FaitalPRO HF144 FaitalPRO | HF Drivers | HF144

Mids are B&C 10MD26 http://www.parts-express.com/pedocs/specs/294-658-bc-speakers-10md26-specifications.pdf These will be boxed for now but pending spousal approval will be dropped into a pair of horns Carpenter of Inlow Sounds kindly designed for me specifically for this driver.

Bass are FaitalPRO 15PR400 FaitalPRO | LF Loudspeakers | 15PR400

I was thinking around 200-250 and 850upwards for crossovers. I'll be using a minidsp for crossover. As I have a 2X4 i might with 2, one for each side. Or theres the 2X8. Need to mull it over as 2X4 is 24/48 and the 2X8 is 24/96 and would be a neater install.
