on the north creek site.
the sub claims an fs of 11 hz. in a small sealed box. any guesses on model/brand name ? thanks |

Wow,
an 11" woofer with a resonant frequency of 11hz? in a sealed box? the basket and spider looks similar to vifa woofers, however there is a third rib on each of the bars going from the surround up to the motor and vifa use metal around the magnet to cancel the field dont they, faraday cage style... however thats using another magnet... in all honesty it looks like a chinese/taiwanese woofer |

i am wrong.
i guess i got dia of woofer wrong with fs it is 14 Poseidon Woofer Theile-Small parameters: Re = 6.24 W Fs = 14.9 Hz ± 1.5 Hz Qts = 0.28 Qes = 0.31 Qms = 2.89 Vas = 4.00 cubic feet (113 liters) Sensitivity = 87.9db (2.83V, 1 meter) H = 22.2mm (voice coil height) G = 10mm (gap height) Xmax = 13.9mm p-p http://www.northcreekmusic.com/Drivers/Poseidon1.htm |
