the sub claims an fs of 11 hz.

in a small sealed box.

any guesses on model/brand name ?

If it did you'd need a million watt amp to get anything out of it -- you can't break hoffman's iron law

That frame and surround color indicate to me that it might be made by Hi-Vi, or Dulcet or whatever name they are going by now. I have some of their drivers with a similar ribbed frame and a weirdly green surround material.

Wow,

an 11" woofer with a resonant frequency of 11hz? in a sealed box?


the basket and spider looks similar to vifa woofers, however there is a third rib on each of the bars going from the surround up to the motor

and vifa use metal around the magnet to cancel the field dont they, faraday cage style... however thats using another magnet... in all honesty it looks like a chinese/taiwanese woofer

i guess i got dia of woofer wrong with fs

it is 14


Poseidon Woofer Theile-Small parameters:

Re = 6.24 W

Fs = 14.9 Hz ± 1.5 Hz

Qts = 0.28

Qes = 0.31

Qms = 2.89

Vas = 4.00 cubic feet (113 liters)

Sensitivity = 87.9db (2.83V, 1 meter)

H = 22.2mm (voice coil height)

G = 10mm (gap height)

Xmax = 13.9mm p-p

Possible, but not likely... they may design them themselves, but i betcha some OEM is buildin' them.
