Realised the clamp arms were at one end and weren't doing their job properly. Zzz

Stuffing in, made sure there's an air tunnel all the way along. Bitumin /foam pads behind the driver

Not enough long clamps.. Having to move them around which isn't ideal at all.

That looks like a lot of stuffing - you sure you need that much?

Most of the stuffing is at the beginning of the line. The rest is just on one wall and I've glued it in place
The design is flawed.. Line is too long

Just finished one cab last night. There was an issue with one brace so I didn't glue on the base... it'll have to wait til September.

Happy with how it looks tho.

How do they sound now?

I hooked it up for about 5 minutes to my father in laws AV amp and it sounded pretty good! But I'll have to wait til I get back to see how the finished pairs sounds. One thing I noticed was the tweet sounded more balanced in the box. Maybe due to the large baffle.

Yup I think so. I literally hooked them up for a few minutes this morning before i flew back to uk. The lower treble is the one area I want to listen to more, if there are any weaknesses. We stuck on an Eagles cd and the guitar sounded v good, treble balance is now better in the box.
Is this the first Alpair 12pw w/ tweeter build?

well, not if you count the A7.3 crossed over at 250Hz as a "tweeter"

prototypes from last summer shown with A7P, we ended up preferring the 7.3. A pair of the 12PW per side move some air.
