HI
I´m playing with MathCad 8 free demo. Enclosure is similar to Ariels but with MT Vifa PL18 configuration. Infinite Baffle SPL is nice with gradual rolloff. Driver measured Fs: 38Hz, dip is at at 35HZ. Also first peak from Acoustic Impedance graphic is at 35Hz, and I really don´t know if this result is fine. Thanks in advance for comments. JC |

I believe the dip conicides with the impedance rise of the driver. This is normal. What you want to be concerned with are the ripples higher up. Here's a thread with MJKs explanations.

Thanks for reply. In impendance graphic first peak is at 35Hz Driver Fs is 38Hz so it´s 3Hz lower. Any problem? TIA JC |
