Please could i field opinions on the above speaker kit. I'm thinking of building a pair using the ER spec. My plan is to use these for both stereo (vinyl and digital sources) and as the front left and right in a movie setup. The room is about 5 x 4.5m.
With the seas CA26 units at the bottom I'm thinking a subwoofer may not be needed for movie watching. To start with I will be driving them from my Arcam AVR380 bi amped. But longer term I want to replace with a separate pre / processor and honey badger amplification for each channel.
For the centre channel I am looking at using the centre 641 CENTER-641 also from Troels website. For surround my thoughts are mini monitors also using similar seas drivers.
Does this sound like a good combination?
