Hi
I´ve just got data form MJK worksheets for a ML TQWP and the first graphics are pretty much satisfying. Resulting line lenght is 72 in., So= 0.5 and Sl= 3Sd, driver offset is 0.5. Driver is a Vifa PL18 My doubt is how to draw a folded line and how to get the effective lenght in the area the line folds behind the woofer? My box project is similar to this one found in fellow Jim Read pages: http://www.jrbham.btinternet.co.uk/tqwp/index.html In advance thanks for comments JC |

Hi Dave
Yes, this is a good example. Regarding the blue drawing, the LINE LENGHT "path" starts in the midle of small section and follows all trough the increasing section up to midle of large section? And in this example offset is near 0.5? Bob has deleted the folded TQWP from his page. TIA, JC |

Nope, it's still there. Go to my site http://www.geocities.com/rbrines1/ and click on "Straight Pipe" in the left hand column. The folded version is at the bottom of the page.

Hi Bob
OK, that´s fine. Now, how did you get the inner dimensions of the folded version to result 60 in. from the Straight Pipe. There´s a straigh 30in. segment (botton to woofer), plus R5 and 22.5in. to the throat. Then, 30 + (2.5*pi) + 22.5 = 60.35. Sorry being so primary. I´m in novice ranking. Please correct me TIA JC |
