Hi all- long time reader, first time poster.
I recently listened to a set of polk lsi9's. I came away impressed with their sound. I would like to do a DIY version as the price for the gen-u-wine article is beyond my means. Can anyone provide plans? Know of an existing DIY bookshelf MTM kit out there based on the Vifa Xt tweeter? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I know this is an old post, but I picked up a pair of LSi9's on Craigslist for $350 used.
I don't know if you could build a DIY set for less than this(the tweeters alone cost $50-$60 each)! Just my two cents. |

They sound pretty good, but IMO, the caps used in the HF circuit really hold them back. Congrats on your purchase.
