Very complex passive crossover though, I just stole the Vib130TL design and added an inductor.
I am now in the process of converting to active filtration and multiple amplifiers.

Hi, how do you like the sound? I plan to make their couplet kit which uses 2 AL130. Why did you put tweeter off center?

Frequency response looks better in Boxsim with tweeter ex-center..

Purpose was to let AL130 work up to 3kHz and kill resonance at 7-8kHz.. only possible with 4th order xover..

It is not overcomplicated, every single component have purpose..

The worst kind of people is the one that criticizes but does not know or does not want to give advice..If you don't understand the alternatives and proper
4th order L/R acoustic targets it is your problem.
If my xover is overcomplicated let me know what component is unnecessary, or what would you do differently..

The values of capacitors aren't right in my diagram, but note the single coil I added to the Visaton circuit.
The vib130tl circuit is here:

Its simpler and kills the breakup of the AL130 well enough)
Its basically the Vib130TL circuit, with an added coil shunting the LP circuit to notch the breakup. Seems to do OK. Would be easy to try if you have spare components 🙂
