Realistic 9's

Hi guys. A friend found me a set of realistic 9's. I'll pick them up tomorrow. What's the opinion on them? Anything I should do/know to set them up?

I suspect the bass driver is nice. The sideways array -- and at the top -- of midranges is goingtobe problematic. I've seen that tweete too… no opinion.

You getting them cheap?

Midranges are open baffle. Really curious how this sounds in real life.

Are those midrange the little Foster driver?
Turn them on the side to get the mid array vertical and they sound better; just a random thought

Probably not… i suspect they are themidrange version of a driver that what used in many RS speakers, and that had, from the front, a very similar tweeter. All these were open back.
