Default Allied Cabinets Converted to Zaph BAMTM's

I found these old Allied Cabinets from the 1970's and they had exactly what I needed, volume wise, to build the BAMTM's. I gutted the original components (University 12", horn mid. and tweeter). They worked but were terrible sounding by today's standards. I routed the new 3/4" mdf. to fit the new drivers. Dayton 7" and Seas tweeters. I added some internal bracing and about 1" of poly fiber to the internal walls. I used the longest recommended port and measured the port resonance. Very close to the predicted 30Hz. The internal volume is a right around 2 Cu.'. Zaph. did a great job with the crossover creating a very flat response speaker. I'm pleased! Nice to give usefulness to something headed for trash! I used a little furniture restore for the finish but left the original nicks and flaws.
