Default Help with the unknown

Greetings y'all,

Dr.Troels says on his Jenzen-Next page Jenzen-NEXT
One could swap this driver W26FX-002 with this CA26RFX.
Working with the Jenzen Accu mkII, could you swap the Audio Technology 10C77-25-10-KAP bass driver for the CA26RFX?

No small animals will be harmed Your friend, M

In the middle of the page for the 10C77 you have a comparison ""Left: AudioTechnology 10C77-25-10-KAP. Middle: ScanSpeak 26W/8861T00. Right: SEAS W26FX002.""
But, a TL is a complete different animal. Model a TL for both drivers and check it's swapping possibility. Are you doing it in a TL? H1305-08 CA26RFX - Seas

ER hold the lidocaine, we have a bump in the line. Breath!
Wow thank you for your response
I plan......if all goes well to do a 4-way with the bass and sub, dsp driven.
I would like to know if my request was valid so I could use bass circuit for a/b comparison.
the W26FX002 or the CA26RFX are my druthers due to budget.
I want to experiment running 'em up to 3-600hz and cutting them off at 80hz.
Closed for the TL as in same baffle, same carcass but closed, maybe a resonator at the bottom like the Scanspeak Factum.
Your friend M

Can you make a question at (each) one time (makes things easier for me) with links if possible.
There are 3 type more common of speakers, sealed, BR or reflex and TL transmission line, ok. I understand that by resonator you mean the bass reflex, so it can not be closed (or sealed).
Would be nice if you address your question again with the right vocabulary in mind, if possible. NPI

Sorry Le, I didn't notice your flag (Portugal).
This speaker: Jenzen-Accu
I understand the difference between Sealed, ported,TL..
Look here Defaktum: Scanspeak Three-way
Second picture down. The German designer used a Helmholtz resonator at the bottom of the box. Is there a formula to calculate this in the Jenzen speaker?

Inductor,
I hope I was clear. You can make a whole wall in your house with holes and stuffing or other material. These holes are not random but calculated depending on what mode you want suppressed.
obrigado

Try also googling the terms you need. As for diy bass traps or similar.
Is that for a speaker or for room modes? You mention in wall that's why me asking.
Some links you may relate to:

I read from link on post#8 they are the same calculations used by ELIPSON.
I will have to read the Jenzen Accu mkII/Faktum loudspeaker for more info.
