Fullrange speaker, TB 3-way

Hi all, first post by me here.

I'm looking for a fullrange setup for music, some background:
- mostly jazz/rock at moderate levels
- room size approx 5m wide and 8m deep
- speakers will have to be rather close / very close to the back wall

What I'm looking for:
- fairly cheap system
- good balance
- lowend extension into the low 30's

What I'm currently thinking would be:
TB's 28-847S as tweeter
crossower round 2500 to
TB's W4-657S (sealed 4L)
crossower 150 to
TB's W8-740C (ported, 20L, 28Hz)

Since I'm pretty new to this:

- Does this look realistic ?
- 1 mid or MTMW configration ?

I'll most likely have some more specific questions after some more simulations with theese..

That sounds lika a good combination to me. RAW would be a better judge though.

I would build it as a 2.5 way. The 657 to the 847 2nd order @3500, in its own enclosure, then bring the w8 in at 80hz tuned to 30hz. The 657 should be good down to about 75hz.

I have the w4-656 in a 3.3L ported box tuned to 76 and it gets way too loud for me before i hear any distortion.

You could run the w8's off of a sub amp even. Large inductors are expencive.

those look really cool.

Active, hmmm.. have to look into it. Blows the budget though I suppose.

I was thinking on using a PR to tune the woofers, a port would be quite tricky to construct with a small enclosure.
