After reading a number of articles from this great forum, a crazy idea came to mind.
For those who have a room on the other side of an adjacent wall which the television sits against. Cutting a hole between the two rooms for a small baffle with 2 subwoofers mounted in dipole fashion. The small baffle would be midway in the wall or indented more into the Television room (less impact on the second room - no bulging subwoofer basket - just a protective mesh) I figure that this will give an infinite baffle setup with no worry of dead nodes (since 90degrees is actually the wall itself). Also it can be handy for house parties, no over boom in one room, equal bass throught the two rooms. This technic could also be used for mids and woofers. I set of speakers could be used to entertian either room. Say living room and dining room. 2 15"s in wall with an attractive border can make a wonders conversation piece. And A kick *** party machine. Am I crazy, quite possible. Adrian |
