Replacing tweeter with one from a different model? (Infinity Kappa -> Interlude)

Here's what I'd like to do and I'd appreciate what you guys think about it.
I have a pair of Infinity IL-40 with a Frequency range of 38-22000Hz, now there is for example the Kappa 400 with a range of 40-27000Hz, both using a 1" CMMD tweeter. Would simply putting a Kappa 400 tweeter in my IL-40 provide me with the upper frequency of 27000 Hz? I noticed the crossover freq is different for the two models (2500Hz for IL and 3000Hz for Kappa), I'm not sure if that'd cause any unwanted effects.

It's generally accepted that a young person with undamaged hearing can't hear anything above 20 KHz, so the only one in your home who might notice the difference is the family dog ;-)

You might not 'hear' the difference, but I'm not convinced that you cannot 'feel' the difference. After all, the waveform is there and it interacts with physical objects, like the body. Anyway..that's another conversation, right now I'm more curious about the tweeter swap itself
