Default JBL LE8T Reconing options please

Ok, I ask for a quote and I'm told the new cones cost over $300 per here in Canada plus installation.
I can buy some pretty good 8" woofers for that kinda coin.

Can these go back to the factory or are there other options. These are worth doing something with. A fine 8" unit.

What about knock off cones?

All help is appreciated.

Cal

Default Thanks there roddyama but...

$164 plus exchange [$Cdn] plus shipping, plus border taxes [14%], guess what? I'm outta luck again. This is a full range driver I'm using for a woofer. A wonderful unit but...

Anyone else?

How bad are they Cal? Do both cone have to be replaced? You didn't accidentally plog them into an AC outlet, did you?

Default Rodd, you're a funny guy

The surrounds are crispy and both cones are damaged beyond nail polish. I will need a full recone and cleaning of the gap etc.
