Happened to run into this app (ClapIR) that claims it can display the room reverb from the sound of a clap.

Here's the theoritical idea behind this - http://empathicsystems.org/Talks/aes12.pdf
and this is the actual AES paper - http://stevetarzia.com/papers/AES_ClapIR.pdf

Just wanted to see if anyone's tried it yet and found it to be correct ? If it really works like it claims it would be very useful in quickly figuring out room nodes.
Have to warn you though - its not very intuitive or user friendly has a bit of a learning curve.

I have tried it but cant tell if its doing it right. I know my room has strong nodes around 200hz but its not showing. My guess is it needs a stronger excitation signal for the room to even reverb. I am thinking about recording a clap and playing it loud through the speakers..
