Classix II rear port location?

Building a single Classix II speaker with the rear port cabinet. But I can't find anything on where the location of the rear port needs to be. Does it go right behind the tweeter? Does it have to? Up high? Up low? Doesn't matter?

MN,

Unit placement near a wall at the rear, is far more important than where on the rear of the unit, the port is placed. Such placement, close to a wall, can have a negative effect on port acoustics, unless the design requires it.

While I understand that, I don't know enough about enclosure design to feel comfortable placing the port myself in a build like this. Just trying to figure out if Paul specified a location for the rear port on the Classix ii, or if there's a preferred place for some reason or another.

It really doesn't matter too much. Just avoid a placement close to a corner, because that would require a different tube length. Usual port location in small 2-way speakers like this is horizontally centered at tweeter height. Actually there are not many other options. Opposite to the woofer is often not possible because the opening of the tube gets too close to the driver's magnet and the space below is taken by the speaker terminal.
