Default Peerless Woofer Driver spec needed

I can buy a woofer 831947 manufactured by peerless very cheaply here but i'm unable to find the specification for it anywhere...

Someone can help me find it or have it?

I try to search it on google or on the peerless web site but this driver is not there....

Thanks in advance,

Francois

There is an 831974-could that be the one?

Do you have aninfo on the driver itself-like the size, (5", 6½", 8"), etc. And what line, (CCC, HDS, etc) it might be from?

I found that Emailing DST is not that good, but give it a try.

I tried Copernic search engine and the only reference I saw was Addison Electronics, which is your source.

Instead, I would give a call to Addison and ask them if it wasn't a typographical error.

The 831974 is supposed to be magnetically shielded, and that picture did not show a shielded woofer.

Hi darkshadow

I work for Add-tronique, that actualy owns Addison in Montreal.

Those woofers are really interesting, they look similar to the peerless 850102 but doesen't have that SD cone.

We got interested in those as well, and are running some tests.

Right now we are making Totem acoustics Arro Clones with those for fun.. they seem to fit perfectly.

I'll tell you about the results.

Here are the Arro clones of Francois.
http://www3.sympatico.ca/gagnefr/totemarroclone.htm

Those woofers have a 5.5" outer diameter, and a 4.5" cone diameter.

Can you share with me the specification

I want to build a 5 channels set for my computer with them with the tweeter 811827.

Keep me informed.

Francois
