Default DIY magazines

Hi i was just wondering if there were any particualry good diy audio magazines. I got stereophile absolute sound and Hi+fi these are all good magazines but they arent really amed at the diyer.

audioXpress comes to mind. Speaker Builder magazine was sort of folded into audioXpress, along with Glass Audio and Audio Electronics. Joseph D'Appolito and Vance Dickason are among the contributors. More here:

Yep pretty much the only thing I've found at stores is audioXpress and Nuts & Volts. The latter not so much audio, rather electronics in general.

You can buy back issues of Speaker Builder and stuff at the above audioXpress website I believe.

And theres no telling where things will go....for many years there were like 2 good sport compact magazines, but in the last 2 years like a dozen have popped up. So you never know how things will go.

I too mourn the passing of several hi-fi DIY publications but I would not swap the information I get on the internet to have them back!
