Oh no, another project!!!!!!
Me too! Me too!
It could be nice if you could just buy a small milling machine, add steppers and an interface, and use the NC postprocessor in Pro/ENGINEER. Very cool indeed.

Could you mail me those links as well, Dave?

Default forward error correction:

A quick word of explanation:

Its been six months since Iíve researched the issue. Some of the links have fallen fallow in the interim. I found a few oddball links included in the folder. Nothing offensive, its just I donít think ejector seats are related to milling machines.

There is likely a good way to attach a folder full of URLS (exported from IE), but I couldnít find it. To get stuff out to people Iíve been sending them as a MS word file with all the URL/Icons pasted in. Clunky and disorganized. I'm sorry about that. Perhaps I'll get a chance to clean it up in the future.

Alas, the first link is broken.
These are related to the first link, lets see if they work and if anyone finds them interesting:

Thats beautiful. Thats definately one of the things I want to get in the next few years. I'd have a hobby once again haha.

I didnt read the posts or the ad on ebay that closely, but how large of a piece of wood can you use with that?

Mine cuts 25" by 25" max. The guy who built mine just sold
one that cuts 25" by 37", and is working on a 25" by 50"

Be careful, as price goes up exponentially with size. It's easy
to make something accurate over a short distance. It's hard
to maintain that same accuracy over a ling distance.

Here's a link to the last one at auction. It went for $2500 bucks.
CNC on ebay

I think you have to be registered to see it, though.
