Default crossover diy help

looking for advice on what software to use and what equipment I need to correctly build a 3 way crossover.

and maybe an answer to a possible dumb question
I'm currently using a 2way crossover converted to a 3way ie a a 2way feeding another 2way. the 2way for the mid and tweeter was designed for those speakers i added a crossover before that for lower frequencies.
so the question is should I scrap all of it and start fresh or just better design the crossover that i have feeding it?

I'm a n00b to crossovers any help would be good thanks

It's only by chance that your speaker works. After saying that some crossovers have stages like that but they where calculated as such, I think the Dahlquist DQ-10 is one of them.
