Default Looking to buy a Dynaudio esotar 330d

I am looking for one or a pair of the Dynaudio Esotar 330d. Currently one side of it stops working, I measured the resistance, it is around 32Ohm instead of 5.2Ohm. I do not see anything obvious when I took it apart. Everything seems to be intact, no burning of wires on the diaphragm.

Anyone who has repaired this type of tweeter before? Help!

As long as you send in the dead driver Dynaudio will replace it (at your cost obviously) as far as I know.

Aklzy,

first have your suspicious driver's impedance and FR measured.
Then we will know more. Yes, factory would gladly take a faulty
driver, replace it with a refurbished one and charge appropriately.

Thanks for the suggestion, What is a FR?

At first the sound was fading in and out, when more power it put in, it was fine for awhile, then back fading in and out again. At the time the resistance was fluctuating, after I took it apart to clean everything and put back. The resistance stayed at 32 Ohms, tweeter stops fading in and out, it is just really quiet.

FR is frequency response. So, are you saying your
driver was working ok and then something happened
and now dcr measures 32 ohms?

How are these Esotars implemented in a speaker?
You said that you performed a cleaning. You have
probably removed the ferrofluid. Did you clean the
magnetic gap too?
