If the tweeters only carry stereo signals, then probably there will be little to no audible stereo reproduction. Also an adequate distance between a pair of drivers given L/ R signals, perhaps at least 3 feet, is a factor in hearing stereo.
My suggestion would be to replace the pair of tweeters with a pair of 3" full-range drivers.
Are you integrating the amplifier with the portable speaker? If so, a crossover network at line level, including mixing L and R bass signals (to be reproduced by the woofer) IMO would be the best route to follow.
The terminals of the woofer connected across L/ R positive terminals of the stereo power amp results in a difference signal to the woofer.
Regards,
Pete
