Default Simple XO design

is it possible to make a passive crossover without any resistors.

lets say a 3 way with a 12" conected with a coil and cap direcly to terminal, a 5" connected with a coil and cap direcly to terminal
and a 1" connected with a cap direcly to terminal.

this was sugested to me buy a friend to acquire simplicity
will this XO work well

thank you

I suppose it's possible but the first issue I see is that resistors are used most often to attenuate the tweeter as they are usually more efficient than the other drivers.

yes i noticed that when i was testing every thing out can i put an L-pad without the parallel resitor.
and how do i get the right value for the resistor.

2nd question:wont plugging all the speakers to the terminal play with the total impedance ,reducing the output from my amp.

3rd question:My mid and my tweeter are 90db and the woofer is 94db and the woofer is being over powered by both like big time
do you have any suggestions

sorry if i am asking so many questions but this is my first experience and ive been playing aroun with everything for like 3 weeks now and i cant get my woofer to perform well and midrange sounds like a can

YIKES! Are you saying you've never designed a crossover before? If that's true you've taken an awfully big bite. Search the web for all the crossover primers you can find. Start with parallel crossovers and get each driver operating within the limits your looking for. I've never done a three-way and I've built several speakers. I'm almost ready to take on a 3-way design. Hopefully someone with more experience will take pity and help you out.
