Default Under Cabinet enclosure with Lepai LP-2020A+

Hello,

I bought a Lepai LP-2020A+ and am interested in pairing it with some drivers in my kitchen. I would like to build an enclosure that fits under my cabinet and that is low profile. Ideally I would like it to be around 3 inches high, but length and depth aren't really an issue.

I would love

a) recommendations for drivers that would work with the Lepai LP-2020A+

b) any sort of guidance on building an enclosure that thin.

Thanks!

Although this is taller/higher than three inches, you could adjust the dimensions as long as you keep the volume the same. It would work well for music in the kitchen with the Lepai.

What is your budget for speakers? There are a number of 3 inch drivers that could be made to work with Lepai.

A really nice “antishock” implementation for good source of ideas is the Philips BR-1X

Awesome. Thank you for the response. If like to spend around $100. I was interested in building a t line enclosure. I thought it might be a good choice since the drivers are so small

Funny, by reading about those bluetooth devices, the specs don't exactly tell if the sound is treated as stereo or is processed into mono, after the input jack.

Have no idea, but it could also be a 2.1 since it has a parasub in the back.
Another interesting implement of a design.
