Hi,
I'm building a pair of speakers but I don't know if I should first make the holes for the drivers and put veneer on afterwards or is it best to put on the veneer first and then make the driver cut-outs ? Thanks in advance, Jim |

I think it would be better if you cut the holes first. That way if you mess anything up you don't have to throw away the expensive veneer. Cut the holes for the drivers but don't rabbett the edges yet ( I assume you are flush mounting the drivers). Then put the veneer on and rabbett the edge of the holes.
