Hello,
I am building my first pair of 3 way speakers using the box from speakers i got scamed off (really cheap price and parts)anyways i kept the woofers in because they seemed to kick the bass pretty well and i bought tweeters and midranges to replace the crappy ones, and a crossover because ther wasnt one. everything set up it seems that the voices sound like they are coming out from a can and the tweeter also seems to play to loud. tweeter is Erixon 90db 50 watts RMS 1.5khz-30Khz midrange is Crown 90 db 120 watts 500Hz-14Khz and the woofer i have no clue for the ratings ,250 watts RMS The bass is good only when you crank up the volume it seems that ther is missing certain frequencys between the mid and the woofer could it be that the woofer is getting over powered by the too other or could it be that the cross over is no good (it only cost 7$ CAN) im having a real hard time figuring out the problem because i dont know where to start Any advice will be of big help.... Thank you |
