Would there be any problem with using steel as part of the cabinets on the speaker? Would there be any sort of interaction with the magnet system on the drivers?
I'm asking since I have some cabinets in mind that are pre-made of steel. I was thinking of adding damping material like Dynamat. Thanks!

I guess if it is sufficiently braced/dampened, I don't think there wouldn't be any problems with the walls resonating...
