Have done a lot of searching and can find little info. With the new low cost SACD/DVD-A universal players a lot of music lovers who never dove into home theater setups will be moving in that direction. The problem with multichannel DVD-A and SACD is there is no bass management (or any that you would want to use) on recievers or drives. What you are looking for is 5 identical speakers which sound good with no high pass x-over and no reliance on the sub to help them out. The sub is used but only for what the artist wants to send to it.
I am looking for a plan for an easy to build speaker that would meet the above requirements. Looking for <$150 per speaker and no complex cabinent. Any suggestions? |
