Another great link fatmarley saves a lot of my time time that one
Sorry guys I just noticed I did a schoolboy error some time ago.
I wired the x/o incorrectly. The resistor and cap in the woofer part was the wrong way round, sounds much better. No harshness now and the tweeter blends in much better.
I will check every detail before I ask for help again and all the replies from you all are still just as useful for me as I will design better x/o's for these drivers.

I don't have an impedance jig yet but will be looking to getting one once i know how to simulate. Iv'e been reading this too Lilmike’s DIY Impedance Measurement Jig, is this recommended? Thanks Dave.
That jig looks like it would do the trick even simpler is Claudio's cable jig Cables
Or somewhat more advanced is Eric Walins Jig II http://www.raymondaudio.nl/files/jig.pdf which is what I use.
Tony.

Thanks Tony great links, the Clardio's cable jig does seem easier and Eric Walins jig looks cool, i need to upgrade my computer with an unamplified sound card first, this computer is literately a few years younger than me with no sound card ha. I could make a jig and study all this in the meantime.
