Question DIY Loudspeakers Guide

I have been browsing this forum for a while now, but have yet to find a thorough walkthrough of making a speaker. The best thing I have found so far is the guide on Parts Express, but even that was not very detailed. I understand all the components involved (drivers, crossover, terminals), but I am lost on the construction of an enclosure.

Is there a good article on creating a good enclosure? Such as: what type of wood, how thick, how to attach the drivers, where to put the crossover, what kind of wire to use.....etc.

Sorry if i have overlooked such a resource, but please post a link to one if it exists!

Thanks,
-Jeff
