Hello Wolf, thanks a lot for your answer.
I'll go for a 15 cm scan speak.
My choice for the tweeter was just driven by 20 years of listening, Scan speak are the only ones that goes high enough without hurting my ears. I have had Gamut Speakers (L5 and L7, based on 18 cm scan peak revelator woofers + scan speak tweeter R2904/700005), Sonus Faber Elipsa and Stradivari (medium 15 cm modified scan speak classic serie + scan speak tweeter R2904/700009). The D3004/66200 has a very nice frequency response curve so I said why not, but I could use also the R2904 as it has been used in previous speakers with 18 and 15 cm mid without problems.
I agree that a 15 cm would be more consistent in terms of crossover possibilities, mainly if I use the two 26W/4558, as they can be crossed at 300-400Hz.

I'm going to start my project
A last question before ordering,
Config : 1 expensive
Tweeter Scan speak D3004/66200
Mid Scan speak 18M/8631
Sub Scan speak 32W/8878 (Closed enclosure 113 liters Qtc = 0.577)
Config : 2 cheaper , bus as good as ?
Tweeter Scan speak D3004/66200
Mid Scan speak 18W/8542
Sub Scan speak 2x26W/4558 (Closed enclosure 77 liters Qtc = 0.577)
Crossover at 200 HZ and 1500 Hz
How did you get on?
The 32W config 1 project is of interest
Hello,
Well project in stand by, but not canceled. I wanted to make speakers more or less like Dalhquist, with a closed box for the bass unit and medium + tweeter on an open baffle on top of the sub. A friend of mine did one pair and it's impressive. Basically my only problem is which kind of medium unit can be used on a small open baffle, I thing it does not matter for the tweeter, but on the medium yes, I've found nothing concerning the datas to check for the possibilities of using a driver on an open baffle.
And still not decided to get a 32W/8878 (or 4878) or two 26W/4558. The 26' are certainly of a lower quality , but will be certainly more quickly responsive, and allows to use a 12MU instead of a 18M or 18W, with would be better for a clean mid range and tweeter coupling.
I've a small company I have to care with and 2018 has been a good year, so I'm able to start the project now.

I've modelized a theorical crossover that seems consistent, but quite different than the one of a similar project already made and sold in kit :
http://www.scan-speak.dk/datasheet/DIY/PBN.B1371v6.pdf
They have te same crossover frequencies, so I guess I should be confident with these values.
I don't like too much the box, but it's already optimized. I was more oriented to something similar to the Jensen 1071, but with a 32W instead of the 26 W :
Jensen-1071
Would the modification of the Jensen 1071 filter be complex by switching the 26W with a 32W (adapting the box size and port of course) ? The low pass frequency would remain the same.
