Default What to do with 4 12inch woofers?

What are the options for a good project with the following specifications? I have four of them in hand. At the moment I am doing a open baffle 2 way Jordan with Jx53 and Jx150 with a ribbon super tweeter. Or should I sell them off instead?

Power==175W RMS
PEAK==350WATT
Imp==4 ohm
RDC==2.8 ohm
Fs==25Hz
Qes==0.62
Qms==2.9
Qts==0.51
Vas==248L(8.75cu.ft.)
Xmas==+/-6mm(0.24”)
Travel==1.1”
No%==0.627
BI=6.8TM
Mms==64G
Sd sq.M.==0.0531
MAGNET==56oz
SIZE==12”

Features
2" 2 layer voice-coil on aluminum bobbin
chrome ion deposited polypropylene cone with stress relief rings
Rubber surround

All the spec numbers means nothing to me at all, no clue!
Regards,
Chris

Well, they sound like pretty decent drivers, good enough for a pair of push-push dipole subs....

BUT I think you'll have trouble integrating them with your JX150, which puts out pretty good bass in the Jordan factory alignments. I think you'll be happier with a setup where the JX150 is your LF driver.

On an open baffle ?

They sound like "free air" car drivers. Even in isobaric configuration
you'd need a sealed box of 4 cu for each pair.

Pretty good drivers for stereo open baffle subs though,
but this can get very complicated, see Linkwitz Labs.

My statement is still correct; Jordan does not have an open baffle factory alignment for the JX150.

OK, I'll rise to the bait, correct but totally pointless in context.

I think the output of 4 x 12" drivers with such a small xmax will be marginal. Sealed or vented they will have reasonable output. You need a lot of displacement to get any real output of a dipole!!!

Displacement means diameter of the 12" or horizontal movement of the diaphragm along X-axis?

mount them in the floor... I did it with a single 10inch driver, and the bass was the best.. lol for a $35 10inch woofer with 3mm x-max..

If I want to use it in the basement that means I have to dig a hole in the concrete foundation in order to mount them in the floor. That may be too much work to smash thru the foundation. What about paper/cardboard tubes? Any suggestions?

If you use cardboard tubes you need two around 6 feet tall.

Use a pair of drivers in clamshell / isobaric configuration per tube.

Stuff well and you'll get a Q of around 0.7 at 35Hz.
