Default BC14SG49-08 any good?

i am building a centre channel at the moment and cant completely decide on midbass drivers/driver, it is either this vifa that is cheap as, or 1 or 2 peerless 850528. both these drivers are sheilded.
i would like to know which is better value vs. quality.
thanks

Hi Michael

The Peerless HDS is only about $30 more and a far superior drivers. I run some TC11's, which are similar to the BC series in my rear speakers, but I wouldn't use them in my centre.

thanks again rabbitz, im sad to hear that they are not that great, though im not really surprised, they are cheap plastic chassis low power buget drivers after all. well maybe in a computer speaker project sometime.
For now the peerless it is, we 2 of them maybe.
