Hi, guys I am on a budget and was trying to get feedback on These speakers. The Yamaha receiver that I have is the RX-V630 and the specs are listed Here. I want to know if I will blow these speakers with this receiver or will they be ok. I listen to all audio sources at no more than 50% volume, especially when watching movies at night. The speakers would need to be set to small in the recievers
menu and a subwoofer used.
Even so the bass performance looks a little restricted even for small use.
They'd probably work ok with close to wall and corner mounting,
but struggle more in free space.
You really need something a lot better, but that will cost a lot more.
