Thanks for the suggestions. As someone whom places lots of weight on others reviews, as there are none for the 3" Tang Bangs, what caught your eye about them besides the speaker material and frequency response?

Sorry, I haven't heard them. They caught my interest because they appear to be the closest match visually to the drivers in my brother's store bought satellite 5.1 system which sounds quite good. Not sure that they are though, so take that recommendation with a grain of salt.
