Have anyone tried the Fane Studio 8M as a direct radiator?

I just wondered if anyone have tried the Fane Studio 8m as a direct radiator for home use - either single or in pairs?

It may be great in an OB!? I know the driver has a rising response, but this may be compensated for.

yes - in a three-way arrangement with FANE Colossus for low frequency. but long time ago. For me one of the best transducer for the low and upper midrange.
I am looking for an appropriate successor model.
Maybe this model, but in an open instead closed version:
