After having built several 2 ways and 2.5 ways, I've decided to try my hand with a 3 way speaker. Based on all I've read, I've decided to start with the PR170MO as my mid. I know Nelson has said that this driver can be used with no filter, but I've also read that this driver is best above the a range of 300hz to 500hz.
Any of you out there who's actually used this driver have any thoughts you'd like to share with me? Thanks to all who respond! |

It's a great sounding driver, I think it
sounds better than the other famous brands using esoteric cone materials that cost 2x more. High pass 300hz - 500hz is a good number. |
