Looks like a DIY. Similar in nature to some Altec's. Not too far from an 816A.

Here's the Royal. Quite an elaborate cabinet compared with the Altec's and I suspect the one from the OP.

Looks it.

The 816VI, specifically, would be my guess.

You guys could be right about the Altec.
Reason for my question is that I'm still looking for a suitable bass cabinet to accommodate my Iwata horns. My horns are fitted with a BMS4590 2" compression driver.

Good find Diogenes.

VT67, I think yours is a homebrew. That is a very old style cabinet, I wonder if there isn't something a little better now?

I just liked the looks of the cabinet. Think I will stick with a good designed reflex cab an make it look like the Exclusive 2402, but a tad bigger.
Thanks for the help guys.

If you want a front loaded horn loaded have you considered the Altec 828 cabinet? Your horn with fit right on top. Their profile is very similar to a 811/511.

I still think they have sex appeal and there's just something weird that happens to most PA woofers that dare to enter - They sound good!
