This is my 1st completed DIY home speaker system. It's a 3way system crossed-over passively and actively with DCX-2496.

Those look great. Very pro looking. Does the government per chance call you Darpa and pay you well for such work?

Heheheh, no he's designing useful things... darpa's only interested in the absurd.

I'm using Mach 5 MLI-65 Midbass drivers / HiVi DMA-A Dome Midrange / Vifa MG27SG2904 Tweeters

I had Solen design and build the x-over's for the mids/tweets since I didn't have the experience to do it myself... I'm using a DCX-2496 to crossover the mid-domes/bass... I'm Messing around with some T-Amps right now so I may actually go completely active soon.

I have some more pix taken during the process on another computer. I'll upload them later. Here's what I have on my notebook right now

The blocks of wood that you see inside I threw in as an after thought after realizing that I'd messed up the volume... The bottom compartment is now loaded with sand

And one of those "absurds" turned into the internet. A lot of groundwork for a lot of useful stuff comes from DARPA.
