Mike G - really nice build. Looks sturdy and pretty too!
Far beyond my skills - but inspiring.

My big boxes will have corner inserts. Just 3/4" hardwood that will be rounded over with a router. The unskilled version of yours.

I had a lot of help from my brother-in-law who is a carpenter. I couldn't have done this on my own.

Here are some photos of my system.

2-way bass reflex enclosure.
Vifa PL series 7" woofer
Peerless HDS Tweeter
External crossovers 24db/oct centered at 2.2 khz.

Subwoofer - 12" Peerless Woofer on 360 watt BASH amplifier.
