An unusual rez to run on a PC... and now that i think a little more, the Mac rez was/is 1152x890 (apple had a gorgeous 21" monitor OEMed from Philips in Italy that was fixed at this rez -- a great source of heat sinks and a monster 600V 6.8 uF poly cap).

My turn to join in.... Speakers are DIY, Peerless and B&G planars. Source is Arcam 8SE as a transport feeding a modified ART DI/O. Pre amp is a passive transformer TX-102 from Bent Audio. Active crossover is a modified XM9 three way from Marchand, Amplifiers are two Marchand MB201 for the low and midbass and two Halo SPM25 tube amps fpr the highs. XO frequencies are 50Hz and 1000Hz. I'm in the process of building 4 subs using 4 Peerless XLS 12" and 4 passive radiators.

<I can highly recommend the same amplifier I am using: Joe <Rasmussen's JLTi (commercial tube-buffered chipamp). In my <experience, it sounds as good as the 47 Labs amp-gear and the <price is excellent.

I don`t can answer your question about the magnet, because i closed the rear part of my speakers with fabric ( ?? or stuff ?? )
The diameter of the membrane is about 8,85 inch. Without the pleated ( ?? is this right ? ) part.
It's an Eminence driver, but Mr. Bastani imbuse it with some
" VOOOODOO " Oil, and i don't know if Eminence manufactured it according his wishes.

It's some 12" Eminence driver. But from the photos it definately has some voodoo oil of some sort.......
Somehow I suspect it is a stock model that he modified..

Peter, we saw many of your amps. But how many speakers do you have?
